Remember to maximize all your five different companions to get all the new buffs and every other companion you max out will give you 10 presence to all your characters. If you are finding it difficult doing these quests I suggest checking out this guide to get the best 1.2 pve builds for your class and the all new Legacy quests in detail.

SWTOR 1.2 LEGACY AND DAILY QUESTS GUIDE

Most Star Wars The Old Republic players, like me, have been eagerly awaiting what the legacy system will bring to the game in patch 1.2. The wait is over!

Here is a preview of the bonuses you will be able to unlock by reaching a certain legacy level and reaching certain in-game goals.

And how will this effect daily quests?

It will mainly give you and your companion buffs and new abilities, that will make doing daily missions a lot easier and faster.

By reaching level 50 with one of your classes you will unlock the species of that class for all the other classes. The most interesting one from the daily quests point of view is to level a human as it will grant you 100 presence bonus to all characters! You can also buy this unlock and it will cost you 1,500,000 credits for each class. It also has a legacy 5 level requirement.

SWTOR 1.2 LEGACY GUIDE

By completing all the Chapter 2 quests you will unlock your classes buff on all other alts. You will also unlock class specific emotes. Completing Chapter 3 with your character will unlock that classes special ability to all classes to be used during Heroic moment. These unlocks have no legacy requirement. Here is a list of class buffs and special abilities you will be able to unlock:

Imperial agent – Coordination Buff – Legacy Orbital Strike ability
Bounty Hunter - Hunter Boon Buff- Legacy Flamethrower ability
Sith Inquisitor – Mark of Power Buff – Legacy Lightning Storm ability
Sith Warrior - Unnataural Strength Buff - Legacy Force Choke ability

Jedi Consular – Force Valor Buff – Legacy Project ability
Jedi Knight – Force Might Buff – Legacy Force Sweep ability
Smuggler – Lucky Shots Buff – Legacy Dirty Kick ability
Trooper – Fortification Buff – Legacy Sticky Grenade ability

A very important update will regard your characters companions. By raising their affection and completing all the conversations and quests given by the companion, you will unlock a bonus stat, Heroic Moment increased by 12 seconds and cooldown reduced by 1 minute and a +10 presence increase on all characters. Each type companion will give a different bonus:

Ranged Tank – Bonus to Max Health
Melee Tank – Bonus to Accuracy
Ranged Damage – Bonus to Critical Hit Chance
Melee Damage – Bonus to Surge Raiting
Healer – Bonus to Healing Received

These do not stack and you will only have to finish one type of role companion and you will get the bonuses for all your alts and companions. They also have no legacy restrictions.

There are a lot of other legacy unlocks that require a legacy level and credits to unlock. Here are some of the most useful ones:

So what do you now? How do I get them all?

Here are 3 tips for getting all your legacy unlocks:

1. Get each type of companions affection to maximum. You can do this by giving them gifts, but beware – each companion likes different types of gifts. Check out a list of what the prefer here. Also companions like, favourite and love gifts give at different levels and affection levels different quantities of affection points – click here to see how much your companion can gain.

2. Level at least one of your characters to level 50. Try to level the others at least to completion of Chapter 2 of their story. If you are not leveling at the speed you want, this guide may help you a lot.

3. Earn as much credits as you can. As you can see, some of these unlocks are very expensive and you will need a lot of credits to buy them all. Do your level 50 daily missions daily, sell the stuff you don’t need on the Galactic Trade Market and if you have a crafting crew skill see what’s in demand and sell it. If you are short of credits do check out this guide so you will not be broke when 1.2 goes live.

The unlocks that Legacy provides are well worth your effort. If you level a 50 human and get all his companions affections you will get +150 presence, Heroic Moment increased by 60 seconds and cooldown reduced by 5 minutes. You will also get Max Health, Accuracy, Surge Raiting, Critical Hit Chance and Healing bonuses plus the classes buff on all characters!

SWTOR Patch 1.2 Daily Quests And Daily Missions

Patch 1.2 will bring many changes to Star Wars The Old Republic eagerly awaited by the SWTOR community. One of the most exciting changes is the implementation of Legacy. By leveling one character to level 50 you will unlock the characters species on all the other classes and also will have a the classes buff and special heroic moment on all the other alts you will make. So now is a good time to finish leveling your main or level your other alts to get the highest Legacy level (there are 50 legacy levels right now) and be sure to check out This Guide for the best and fastest leveling experience.

SWTOR Patch 1.2 Daily MissionsThere will be also some changes to daily quests.

A whole new area of level 50 daily quests have been added to the planet of Corellia called the Black Hole. You will be able to do repeatable daily missions much like Belsavis and Illum with similar rewards.

In World PvP The Battle of Ilum daily and weekly mission have been removed from the game. Also High-level PvP Daily and Weekly missions now reward a combination of Warzone and Ranked Warzone Commendations. The Warzone Commendation cap has been increased to 2000 up from 1000.

I will be posting a detailed guide on all the new daily missions and their rewards soon. In the meantime I suggest you spend your time leveling your character including all his companions affections and maxing out all your crew skills. Patch 1.2 will go live in early April so you still have some time to finish off all the remaining things to do in SWTOR. If you are having trouble finding the right build or leveling in general, now is a good time to Click Here! improve drastically your leveling experience and get the most of your characters.

SWTOR Space Combat Daily Missions and Repetable Daily Quests Guide

Space combat missions are one of the most fun things to do while you’re not questing or pvping in star Wars The Old Republic.

Obviously you first need you spaceship that you acquire trough your personal story quest at around level 16-17. On my Bounty Hunter I got my spaceship at level 13 (I skipped a lot of no personal story quests) but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Before starting your space combat quest be sure to know how your ship works:

Offensive Systems: Blaster cannons are the primary weapon system of most starships, and can be fired continuously. However, targets equipped with ray shielding cannot be damaged by blaster fire–these targets pulse blue when hit. Secondary weapons must be used against such targets. Missile launchers are a common secondary weapon system. Missile targets can be designated (or “painted”) by a ship’s target lock-on system, allowing multiple missiles to be fired at different targets simultaneously. With enough investment, it is possible to equip starships with powerful proton torpedo launchers.

Defensive Systems: Shields are a ship’s first line of defense against damage. When upgraded with a regenerator, shields gradually repair themselves over time as long as the SHIP’S BLASTER CANNONS AREN’T FIRING. Ion cannon blasts–identifiable by their distinctive blue energy trails–can temporarily disable shield systems on impact, so it is critical to avoid them.

To recap;

1. Save your missiles for the main targets

2. Don’t fire your blaster cannons when there is nothing to shoot at.

3. By holding down your left mouse key the blaster cannon will fire continuously(so you don’t need to click like a madman)

4. And do avoid the meteorites :)

To get the first space combat daily missions you have to do all three space combat missions that are available at that time. Once done a quest icon will appear on your Republic/Empire fleet command giving you the available daily space quests. These usually consist of doing 1 or 2 of the space combat missions for completing the daily mission.

For your space combat dailies you will be awarded with experience, credits and Fleet Commendations. Every time you complete a space mission you receive 1 Fleet Commendation. These are repeatable and you can do them all day :) .

For space combat daily missions you will receive between 3-6 commendations or a chance at a rare ship upgrade and also receive the 1 commendation in addition to these benefits.

Space commdations can be traded in for Starship upgrades and pilot gear. The vendor is located in the Imperial or Republic Space Fleet ( the republic vendor is a droid named S-4S0 and you can find him at these coordinates X: -4555, Y: -4834, Z: 649)

For the first 3 space combat missions you will not need spaceship upgrades, but for the next tier I suggest you buy them. You can get 6 upgrades for your ship and these are level restricted. They are 5 grades or tiers of ship upgrades. Grade 1,3 and 5 you can buy from a spaceship vendor(you can find them in any spaceport) Grade 2 nd 4 are crafted by cybertechs.

Happy shooting!

SWTOR Flashpoints Daily Missions and Daily Quests Guide

Like many other mmo’s Star Wars The Old republic offers daily Flashpoint missions that is daily instance quests for those not familiar with the swtor terminology. You will have to be at least level 13 to access these dailies.

These heroic daily missions are called Emerging Conflicts. They  are labeled from I-V depending on your current level and are different for The Republic and The Empire.
